Tuscania – a town not a region. This post from Under another Sun written by Australian expat , Cathy, intrigued me. Although I am familiar with Tuscany as I have a house there, Tuscania is new to me. Do read Cathy’s post for more information, but in short, Tuscania is located 100 kilometres north of Rome in the Vierbo province in northern Lazio. Cathy first visited Tuscania in 1999. It is the home town of her husband, and the family have been living there for the past three years.
Cathy started Under another Sun in August and it is full of her favourite quotations and observations on daily life in Tuscania.
Coincidently, I came across an Italian blog from the same area this week. La Tuscia per Turisti promotes tours in the area.

I met Cathy yesterday, at a teachers’ conference in Viterbo. In the Tuscia region, there is a large number of expat women, and we are gradually finding each other. I’m excited that Cathy’s blog is mentioned here.
That’s great! Do let me know if there are other blogs from this area that I should add to my list.
