Alexandra of arttrav.com contacted me recently to tell me about her site, which I had not come across before. Or maybe I had and just did not recognise it as a blog as it has the most amazing professional look about it! So my apologies for not adding this excellent blog to my list of blogs for lovers of Italy sooner.
Alexandra is a Canadian expat who has lived in Florence for over a decade. She is a professor of art history and writes about the arts as well as things to do and see in Tuscany. Arttrav.com is an excellent source of information on Florence with information on the latest events, museum opening times, and a lot more. If you’r planning to visit Florence, you really must visit this site. But Florence is only part of what Alexandra covers. Art History, of course, is covered and so is Rome and local travel and events in Tuscany.
