baroque sicily

Jann Huizenga is an American photographer and travel writer who lives part-time in Sicily.   Her blog, Baroque Sicily, is about the time she spends in Ragusa Ibla – a place she describes as “a stony village where lemons roll in the streets and bees grow fat as hummingbirds, where the local gelateria offers up cream of anise and petal of rose, where public clocks as well as people are way behind schedule, where street names are snatches of poetry …”

Jann is currently working on her memoir, Kissing Sicilians. When not in Sicily, Jann lives in Santa Fe, NM.
