- East meets West has a wonderful account of her family visit to Sicily this week complete with beautiful photos and feedback on Sicilian restaurant food
- An Expatriate in Rapallo ponders the Italian practice of burning all unwanted agricultural green waste that produces the shrouds of smoke so often seen in the Italian countryside
- L’Orto Orgoglioso discusses ‘growing zones’ and has some delightful photos of what is growing in her garden at the moment
- Ms Adventures in Italy visits Bellagio on Lake Como and walks us through the Villa Melzi Gardens. Her photos bring the whole place to life
- Venice Daily Photo has a surprise photo of a submarine in the Grand Canal.
