I’ve added three new blogs from Rome to my list of blogs for lovers of Italy.
From Philly to Roma is the blog of a US student studing in Rome over the summer. There is not much information about the author behind Hide Side of Rome, but the blog is full of fascinating information, recommendations and historical references. I was absolutely spell-bound by the post on the lost secrets of the gladiators of Rome. The third blog is the new blog of Roam to Rome. It is early days for the new blog, but the site itself is beautifully designed.
I’ve also found a new blog on Sicily. Miss Independent in Sicily is written by a Polish Girl, who lives with her Italian boyfriend in a small town in Sicily. Miss Independent discusses everything from advertising to film stars, movies, and stress.
Sadly, I’ve also removed ten blogs from my list as the bloggers have not posted in the last three months. Personally, I dislike blogs that are not current, but I do wonder why they have decided to stop blogging. Have they moved away, got ill, are too busy these days, or just become bored with the whole idea? If you’ve stopped blogging, or know someone who has, I’d love to know why.
