TorreBarolo, the blog, is named after the 17th century tower in the centre of Barolo in the Langhe area of Piedmont. The tower contains a self-catering apartment with sweeping views of vineyards and medieval hill-top villages.
Megan, a Californian living in London who owns the tower, describes herself as a “Langhe nut”. She has an in-depth knowledge of the area, which she enthusiastically shares on her blog. It provides anyone renting TorreBarolo, or even just visiting the area, with numerous ideas for day trips, details on local events and activites, and of course, information on the fantastic local food and wine.
TorreBarolo is also on Facebook, where Megan currently has a draw for a free stay at the tower. You can also follow TorreBarolo on twitter.
